1. Control panel of the hosting account
Management of a hosting account used control panel cPanel. Through it you can manage files, folders, mailboxes, FTP accounts, databases, backups and many other features in the hosting account.
Tip: To have an access to the control panel cPanel you should always use an encrypted connection. Also, enter a complex password for the panel which contains uppercase and lowercase letters, symbols and numbers.
2. Upload a website in the hosting account
To upload a website, the content of the site should be copied in the hosting account directory / public_html. The contents of a website constitutes directories and files. If you want the website to work on the server, its main file must be titled "index", written entirely in lowercase letters: index.html, index.htm or index.php. You must also delete or rename the service file "index.html" in the directory "public_html" before uploading of the website files. Uploading of the files to the site is done through FTP, by simply using FTP client program.
Tip: To upload multiple files and directories you should always use FTP access. With an FTP client much more easily, quickly and conveniently you can upload any content in the hosting account.
3. Directories and files in your hosting account
You can use FTP access via the FTP program or file manager in the control panel cPanel to access and manage directories and files in your hosting account.

Tip: Keep your hosting account in neat and orderly manner. Remove unneeded and unused directories and files. Files that do not want to be accessible through the Web, you can leave them in the root directory of your hosting account - / home / cpaneluser /
4. Review of the site, without domain to be aimed at the hosting account
You can make a setting of your hosts file (on your computer) in order to work with your website and test it by the hosting account without any pointing of your domain or after you have changed the DNS-s and wait refresh up of DNS information.
Tip: After you have finished reviewing the site, remove the lines from the hosts file.
5. More than one website in the hosting account
Besides the main domain, which enabled the hosting account, you can add additional domains. Adding a new domain in the hosting account as Add-On domain allows you to have another one site.
Tip: Enter directories for new sites (Add-On Domains) outside the directory public_html, for example, / home /cpaneluser /mysite2 /. Thus the information in the hosting account has a structured way and does not get conflicts between sites.
6. Several domains - one website
If you want to add multiple domains in the hosting account that will load content on a single site, then you should add them as parked domains.
Tip: Do not send unwittingly your customers to competition and secure your business name on the Internet. Book and other variants of the domain name as mysitename.com, mysitename.net, mysitename.org, mysitename.info, mysitename.equipment, mysitename.guru and so on. Thus, even your customers confuse the domain extension, it is safer to find and fall on your website.
7. DNS (Name servers)
To associate your chosen domain with the hosting account, it is necessary to assign the correct name server. What are name servers for the hosting account, you can see after logging in your client profile, then click on the hosting accounts and on your right of the account, click on Details. Information about name servers is sent to the contact email address immediately after activation of the hosting account.
Name servers (DNS) could be change through a control panel provided by your domain registrar. The period of the DNS refresh lasts from 2 to 48 hours. During this period, the domain will not be active.

8. E-mail accounts
You can create e-mail boxes with the name of your domain through the control panel cPanel.
For example: [email protected], [email protected]
After activation of the hosting account, e-mail box has been created in control panel cPanel. It is inactive for security reasons. The name of the box is cpaneluser (the username of cPanel). The box can not and must not be used. The box could not be deleted. If you want to use e-mail account with the name [email protected] you need to create it further. Once you have created mailboxes, you can work with them or through e-mail program or web mail.
Tip: Set complex passwords for mailboxes, containing uppercase and lowercase letters, symbols and numbers.
9. Databases
Creation of databases is done through cPanel -> MySQL databases. You can control them either the control panel cPanel -> phpMyAdmin or remotely using an external application.
Tip: Create a new user for each new database – don’t use only one user for all databases in the hosting account. Use a separate database for each site for easier management and maintenance.
10. Archive (backup) of data
Through the control panel cPanel you can generate a full backup of the hosting account via menu "Backup". When generating a backup, archive is made of the current state of the hosting account. The archive could be downloaded locally, thus can keep a copy of the information in the account.

Tip: Make a backup of the data every time when will have changes related to sites in the hosting account. Thus, in case of need, information could be recovered from the account.
